Only the IEGD TMEs seem to be able to unwind the mysteries of the xorg.conf parameters for displays. They say the parameters for each display have to be adjusted based on the display manufacturers "Timing" data. In the IEGD release from EDC, there is a Windows based "config" tool for building xorg.conf files. I'm told this is the behavior their embedded customers expect and all they need. If you have an option to work with an IEGD FAE or TME this will be the most expeditious way to resolve these issues.
The moblin.org 2.1-ivi-project-releases are gradually being restored. Apparently this takes several days to complete. The Moblin IVI image with IEGD integrated includes an xorg.conf file tuned to the display that is shipped with the Intel IVI reference platform, the Congatec IVI Starter Kit. Moving this to dev@moblin.org which is more appropriate. regards Joel -----Original Message----- From: meego-dev-boun...@meego.com [mailto:meego-dev-boun...@meego.com] On Behalf Of Arthur Hsiao Sent: Monday, April 12, 2010 7:12 PM To: Maloney, Gerard Cc: meego-...@meego.com Subject: Re: [MeeGo-dev] FW: moblin-2.1-pr-final-ivi-201002090924.img The downloading link is still broken to me. My platform is z510+US15w. Xor.conf seems to be another problem to me. I will connect to VGA LCD monitor for testing now, and later will have 7"/11" touch LVDS panels. Anyone has a good suggestion? How about the touch panel (USB) driver? Any generic one?
