A blank screen is typical with the IEGD driver if the xorg.conf file does not have the right display parameters for your display device.
the xorg.conf file in the IVI images you mentioned has the correct display parameters for the Congatec Russellville IVI developer kit display. I think the IEGD release notes (found at http://edc.intel.com/Software/Downloads/IEGD/) may have information on how to set the display parameters. regards Joel -----Original Message----- From: dev-boun...@moblin.org [mailto:dev-boun...@moblin.org] On Behalf Of Todor Gyumyushev Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2010 8:25 AM To: dev@moblin.org Subject: Re: [Moblin Dev] Mobilin and IEGD driver Thank you. I have truly supported chipset - 945GSE. It works very nice under XP with the same IEGD 10.3.1 I've downloaded latest Moblin and I can see the Grub boot screen but after that a blank black screen. Maybe somehow the default bundled driver want to output to the HDMI or the VGA port ? (same for both IVI and Final 2.1 images) Can you help further ?
