Oliver Siegmar commented on MOJO-301:
-------------------------------------

I tried version 1.4.1 but it adds the wrong classpath on my machine - tools.jar
is located at /usr/local/jdk1.5.0_06/lib/tools.jar but maven-jspc-plugin
includes /usr/local/jdk1.5.0_06/jre/lib/tools.jar - which does not exist.

I added jasper-runtime (5.5.15 - same version as my production tomcat) to my
POM and the compile process now looks much better. But one thing is still going
wrong:

[INFO] Built File: /WEB-INF/jsp/XXX.jsp

^^^ tons of that and then:

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: file:/YYY.jsp(9,32) Unknown attribute type
(a.self.defined.attribute.class) for attribute MY_ATTRIBUTE_NAME.

Unfortunately there aren't more information, I don't know what the problem is
(the jsp looks fine [as well as the custom tag lib that is used here] and runs
flawlessly without precompilation). What can I do, to debug this?

BTW: Is there a configuration option that removes all successfully compiled jsp
files from target?

> jspc-maven-plugin doesn't seem to work at all

> When calling 'mvn package' I see this on my shell:
> [INFO] jspc args: [-uriroot, /XXX/src/main/webapp, -d,
> /XXX/target/jsp-source, -s, -l, -webinc, /XXX/target/web-fragment.xml, -p,

> jar files deployed with this application
> My fault?
