There was a vote more than 72hours ago about releasing the axistools-m-p and promoting it.
The result should be published.

If there is a vote for removing wsdl2java-m-p or downgrading it to sandbox before destruction
you will have my +1

hehe

shortly will likely be later today..

if it's not too much of a bother could you give the axistools snapshot a whirl?

http://snapshots.maven.codehaus.org/maven2/org/codehaus/mojo/axistools-maven-plugin/1.0-SNAPSHOT

you should just need to set the snapshots url as a plugin repo in your pom and then reference the axistools snapshot and it will download and run it for you

only difference from the wsdl2java plugin is that the goal is now wsdl2java as opposed to generate I think

thanks!

Funny you should mention it... I was just starting work to add w2j to
my project yesterday. So I'll check out a-m-p when its posted
instead/in addition... ;-)

What's your timeframe for "shortly"? And will you be making an
"official" announcement on mojo-dev@ or users@ Maven lists along with
perhaps a little <plugin>...<configuration> example to get us started?
