Not a great solution (2 steps required -- create project w/archetype
and then cleanup with antrun) but it would achieve the results you
desire...
Or perhaps you could just modify the archetype plugin as this is
something that I've seen requested on this mailing list more than
once, so it seems like something people want/expect out of
archetype...
