The introduction could a paragraph explaining more detail about what the
plugin does.  You could include links to others sites if this is a plugin
that extends functionality of some other tool.
Sorry if it seems like I am "picking" on you but this seems to be a sticking
point for some developers to use Maven and its plugins.
This is one of the easier ways for us as developers of Maven Plugins to
promote our plugins and Maven.

Fully agreed - documentation is really important! ...but frankly
