c-builds 1.0-alpha-3 has been released. It should be hitting the repo1.maven.org repository soon, if it's not already there.

Yeah, it should work well with 2.0.4 also, though there have been problems with patches being applied twice, or the configure step running multiple times. This is a bug in 2.0.4 which has been fixed in the 2.0.5 release candidate.
