John Casey closed CBUILDS-12.
-----------------------------
Assignee: John Casey
Resolution: Won't Fix
Ok, I'm going to stick with the opinion that references by @pathOf()@
constitute a direct dependency on that library, and therefore should be listed
directly in the project's dependencies. This has a beneficial side effect of
allowing resolution of these expressions even when the dependencies themselves
haven't been resolved for that build yet. If the pathOf expression were used
earlier than the build-on-demand plugin's execution (for instance) the effect
could be disastrous to the build, if we were to support transitive deps here.
> Make sure that @pathOf()@ works transitively

> I haven't personally verified it but it's been reported that the @path()@
> operation does not work for getting the path of transitive dependencies. If
> this is the case, it needs to be fixed.
