I'm not *sure* it is complete enough... but I do think it is stable
enough, so I'm happy to make a 1.0-beta-1 as the first release at the
Mojo project (its already gone through a few milestone releases at
Geronimo). Anyways, time for bed now... been up for too long
(again). Will check the other responses to this thread and then
start a vote up. Thanks for the input :-)

Folks, I'm getting ready to release the first maven-selenium-

Seems like most things go through alpha, beta, blah, first...
though I'm not really sure what to do here. I don't really expect
the configuration to change all that much unless there are major
changes to Selenium which require significant changes to the mojo.
So, I think that if we release 1.0-alpha-1, that it might just
stay that way for a long time... but before I call for a vote, I
wanted to ping the list and get some feedback first.
If you're *sure* that it is complete enough to say that the API
won't break (you can still add stuff) I say release it as a beta-1
and then re-release as 1.0. I know this might be a lot of work for
not enough gain but it makes sure that 1) the release is done
properly and 2) you will see an increase in use once you release
something which often leads to new feature requests.
But if you are really confident that what you have now is good
enough feel free to release 1.0. You can always release 1.0.1
later, and people often trust micro releases more than minor (e.g.
1.0) releases :)
