David Vicente commented on MOJO-678:
------------------------------------

I am not sure to see the profit of this kind of indicators.

Could you be more precise ?

violations average per class must be useful but for the rest ....

But if you can explain the goal, it will be included in next releases.

> For the Checkstyle, PMD, CPD (and poss. Findbugs) it would be nice to have
> the values not only in absolute terms (e.g. 2342 Checkstyle violations), but
> also in relative terms (per class/per file/per line-of-code). That would
> allow a much better overview of the general state of the module (esp. for
> checkstyle).
> Now for the tables it should not be too much of a problem to add these
> numbers (but it should probably be configurable, too), but for the
> graphs/charts there are some options:
> - select one of the values <absolute, per_class/per_file, per_LOC> and
> render only this value in the chart
> - select some of the values <absolute, per_class/per_file, per_LOC> and
> render one chart per selected value
> - select some of the values <absolute, per_class/per_file, per_LOC> and
> render them all in one chart, scaled approbiately
> Any opinions on this?
