Folks, I'd like to get the groovy-maven-plugin and plugin-support
module ready for upcoming release. Both are currently chill'n in the
mojo-sandbox and I'd like to move them both up.
For those of you who don't know...
The groovy-maven-plugin provides Groovy scripting support in the
Maven 2 environment, including inline/remote scripts and
compilation... and the bulk of the code was moved over from the
Geronimo Genesis project a little while again. I'm still working on
mojo implementation support, but I've coaxed most of the execution
support into the plexus-groovy-factory (which groovy:execute re-uses
to run scripts).
The plugin-support module contains many helper classes which help
make the groovy-maven-plugin work (as well as a few other plugins
like retrotranslator-maven-plugin and selenium-maven-plugin). This
module also came from the Geronimo Genesis project and has been in
use for many many months now and is quite stable. If you'd like to
see more of what's in here, the javadocs are in decent shape:

Are there any objections to moving both of these modules out of the
sandbox into the top-level tree? If not I'm going to move them and
start to prepare them both for an initial release.
