Bernd, I have extracted the following from your patch:
- Support for excluding the IDEA specific files.
- Support for excluding the subprojects. (I made it configurable.)
So far I didn't add the try/catch clause in consumeContents, because I do not
understand the rationale. If a file cannot be scanned, then there's something
wrong. It may be a bug in RAT, but then that should be fixed. It may be an I/O
error, but then the user should now. Ignoring it with a relatively silent error
message seems improper to me.
