-1 on the re-arrange due to a detail overlooked in the comparison
to the
mvn page. The Maven project doesn't have plugins which were
contributed
but not maintained (ie, sandboxed). Codehaus' list, if categorized,
would turn into a matrix pretty quickly, where each plugin has a
category and status. It needs to be abundantly clear when a plugin
isn't
actively maintained.
+1 if we don't categorize sandboxed plugins which do not have a
release
version.
Agreed. The stuff in the sandbox will remain in a sandbox group by
itself. Only the released bits will get categorized into functional
groups.

Can we re-arrange the site plugin list (on this page

Like I'd like to see a "Language Support" group or something,
that has
the groovy-maven-plugin and jruby-maven-plugin.
I'd also like to see the latest release version on the page,
just like
how the main maven plugins page ( http://maven.apache.org/
plugins/ ).
I think that the main site index would be a lot easier to grok
if we
updated it to follow the lead of the mvn plugins page.
Comments?
Sound like a good plan to me.
Also, there is a lot of random garbage in the site dav share,
looks like
some plugins were misconfigured at some point and deployed site
information in the wrong directory. Looks like mostly appfuse and
weblogic, though did find someother stuff too. I think this
should be
cleaned up.
