When you use a text editor, it is possible that he did some strange
conversions. But the maven plugin just read the file and replace marker with
some values. There isn't any chance that it replace EOL with bad ones. If your
file is stored with the good format, it won't change because you open it in
java.
Did I missed something in your proposition ?
