I have had a request to get this plugin released.
I can't find any open issues, so may be is time do this.

apt-maven-plugin might make it out of sandbox and into a release. Any
ideas? I've imported a copy into our local project space because we
needed to get going, but I'd rather not rely on syncing with the
codehaus repo, and it's working in its current form quite well for us.
I'd vote +1 on a 1.0 release.
