Jason Dillon commented on MGROOVY-63:
-------------------------------------

Hi folks, sorry I've been busy for the past days. I'm really glad that folks
from the Groovy team have shown some interest in this work, cause for a while
it was just me... pimping it really anytime anyone had any mvn question, i'm
like use the groovy integration to solve it, blah, blah.

Its a good feeling from a genesis standpoint to see folks interested in
something you helped make so... cheers.

Life, the universe and everything... well took me through the spin cycle, and
well the sheets and the towels were out of balance and, well you prolly know
what happens then.

But I wanted to say thanks for those who are looking at this stuff, I love it,
I love groovy and well mvn + groovy is bliss imo from a build tool geeks
perspective. But I need a few more days to deal with some personal shiz before
I can provide y'all with something technical and tangible (nothing like this
comment :-P).

Thanks folks :-)

> To make mixed java/groovy apps easier to manage, it would be better if groovy
> source was looked for under the java dir by default instead of a seperate
> groovy dir.
> Since it all ends up as java bytecode, it makes sense to have the source
> under the same tree. You can always tell the language by the file extension ;)
