I'm not real fired up about this one. It's interesting, but I'm also convinced
that it is a different plugin.
One thing that I've noticed about Maven plugins is that people tend to throw
everything at them. They become these nasty multi-purpose swiss army knives
that have to support every which feature and function people have to throw at
them. I think this contribution is interesting, but I also think that it's
something that should live in a separate plugin - call it the
"hibernate3-loader" plugin or something. Build out some extensions that allow
people to load data in different formats, etc. etc.
The hibernate3 plugin probably needs to focus on documenting what it can do at
this moment, not on providing a hook for an interface that exposes a Session.
