Unable to build appassembler-maven-plugin due to missing templates

The following templates seem to be missing from appassembler-maven-plugin
thereby causing 'Could not load template' exceptions in the
JavaServiceWrapperGeneratorTest:
- bin/App.bat.in
- bin/sh.script.in
- conf/wrapper.conf.in
- lib/libwrapper-linux-x86-32.so
- lib/libwrapper-macosx-universal-32.jnilib
- lib/libwrapper-solaris-x86-32.so
- lib/wrapper.jar
- lib/wrapper-windows-x86-32.dll
Are these templates supposed to be unpacked from the wrapper-delta-pack tar
ball?
