This has been around for a while now, and it doesn't even have anyone
monitoring it (maybe a year now).
I think if you need it, you'll have to do it yourself.
I *have* had success recently using an assembly along with the ant plugin to
package up static HTML/Javascript as a dependency similar to what we need with
the headers. Maybe such a solution would work for you until someone gets off
their duff and gets this feature into the official plugin.
