Hi hausmates.
What does it take to add a plugin to the sandbox?
I honestly believe the chronos plugin is a great concept of
"continuous performancetesting", based on integrating
performancetesting in maven builds.
At my company we have used it in two projects so far, and hope others
would find it useful too. The plugin is attached at http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MOJO-1030
.
As a result of the correspondance below, I applied to join the mojo
project at xircles.codehaus.org a few weeks ago under the name
"soelvpil" (full name Kent Sølvsten).
The purpose was to add the plugin to the sandbox myself (and possibly
later see if I could help out with some of the other plugins too).
Alas, my developer application is still pending.
What does it take to get access to the sandbox? Should I just continue
uploading new packages to JIRA until the disk serving the web
application is full :-)
Am I just being too impatient? Or is nobody really interested in
"continuous performancetesting", so I should just forget the whole
thing?
Med venlig hilsen / Kind regards
Kent Sølvsten

Is it access to the whole sandbox, thus allowing me to commit the
code
myself, and possibly help out with some of the other plugins?
Currently i am the only active developer on the chronos
performancetest
code.
The code was originally started by one of my colleagues, but he
is currently
working on other stuff.
A suggested username could be "soelvsten".
Please, go to http://xircles.codehaus.org/, create an account there,
Then go to http://xircles.codehaus.org/projects/mojo
and 'apply to join' there.

Tomek

Hello,
There's a Plugin Submission issue for Chronos plugin
(http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MOJO-1030).
It looks very interesting and complex (it's not small plugin
with 2 mojos and one config file).
What about giving plugin developers access to mojo-sandbox
so they may work there instead of adding packages to JIRA?
Regards,
Tomek
