Lee Meador commented on MFINDBUGS-53:
-------------------------------------
You can see the FindBugs plugin version I was using in the above comment. I got
the error using Maven 2.0.7 and it happened on Windows XP (dev machine) and
Linux (CI machine). Command used to get the error was "mvn clean install site"
and it happened on the EAR project in two different applications.
When I added FindBugs configuration <skip>true</skip> to the offending
projects, FindBugs quit sending out the exception.
> The plugin fails for non-source modules

> When using the plugin versjon 2.0-SNAPSHOT on a module without sources (and
> classes), i.e. ear modules, it fails with :
> [ERROR] BUILD ERROR
> [INFO] ----------------------------------------
> [INFO] Failed executing FindBugs
> Embedded error: No classes found to analyze in ...
> This works in version 1.1.1, and s probably related to the findbugs core
> upgrade.
