The maven-native-plugin supports Windows compilation up to Visual Studio 2005.
The attached zip file adds environment support for Visual Studio 2008 and also
the ability to execute the manifest utility to embed the manifest file. The
manifest utility follows the pattern that was used for the ranlib utility
support.
