No, I guess there's no real need. I was just thinking latest/greatest to get
any bug fixes, rather than in terms of backwards compatibility. But I see a
number of the core maven plugins (surefire-plugin etc.) even use 2.0 or 2.0.1
as the version for the core libs, so it must be the right way to go.
