Hi, I'd like to release version 1.0-alpha-2 of the OS X Application Bundle Plugin.
The plugin makes it easy for Maven projects to create OS X Application Bundles containing all your project dependencies and the necessary metadata. It produces DMG files on OS X and falls back to ZIP-files on non-OS X platforms. Since the release of 1.0-alpha-1 last September, the plugin seems to be getting some traction and I'm getting requests for bug fixes and new features that are currently only in the alpha-2 snapshots: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&pid=11062&component=12964 Notable new features includes the ability to put additional resources in the DMG besides the bundle itself, internet enabled DMGs, JVM arguments and a customized Finder views for the DMG.
