Dear David,
I work for IBM Slovakia as a java programmer. I would like to ask you
if your WAS plugin can work with EJB 3 also. I'm asking, because we
would like to use Maven 2 in our projects. EJB 3 looks much better
than 2.1 because you don't need to create so much garbage for each EJB
(stubs, XMLs...) and it uses Java Annotations. And what about
Websphere 7? Is there a possibility that I will join you and will try
to help you with the plugin?
Super - support for EJB30/WAS7 would be great!
The plugin is designed to generate ant-build scripts suitable for the
tasks provided by WebSphere application server:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v6r1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.websphere.javadoc.doc/public_html/api/com/ibm/websphere/ant/tasks/package-summary.html
.
I do not have access to any 7.0 documentation so I don't know how the
tasks - if provided - will look like.
I haven't seen any EJB3.0 specific tasks in the EJB30 feature pack
either. If access can be provided to the codehaus for software and
documentation in v7.0 this would be great!
