Ask IBM - or file a PMR with them if you feel that validation of all XML is
wrong. It's not a plugin issue.
2)
You are probably locked down behind some corporate firewall... :) Downloading
of the schemas will be attempted, and take a very long time before it times out.
If you trust your XML - just turn off validation.
