I have a project where I'd like to be able to load some build properties from a
properties file, so I started looking at the properties maven plugin. The
plugin already has a site [1], and there was a vote to release the plugin a
while back [2], but it looks like the plugin was never released.
Is there another plugin that can be used to load external properties? Should
this plugin's features be integrated into something else like the build helper
plugin?
If there isn't a good alternative for loading a properties file, I'll call a
vote to promote the plugin out of the sandbox and do an alpha release.
