The command line and Ant XML Code Generation tools provide the option to
generate a mapping.xml file for the Java classes generated from XSDs. At
present there appears is no such option on the Maven Plugin.
See the following e-mails from the Castor User e-mail group:
Hi,
the documentation you have been looking at describes the last production
release of the plugin, and hence does not include any references to any
recently added configuration parameters.
I just had a look at the plugin sources, and it looks like this is not
yet supported. Can you please add a new Jira issue at
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MCASTOR
and I will pick it up.
