Milen Dyankov commented on MGWT-40:
-----------------------------------
I'm sorry for rushing with the JIRA issue. Checked the JIRA issues, archives,
google and didn't find the answer so .. Somehow forgot about mailing list.
About 1 and 2 it's just copy/paste from the example from Maven 2.x GWT Plugin
web site (http://mojo.codehaus.org/gwt-maven-plugin/examples.html).
I only created this project to demonstrate the problem so this was the fastest
way to go. May be you should remove this lines from the examples if they are
not needed.
About 3 - it worked of course (I should have figured this out myself). I'm
wandering if it is possible to have "war:inplace" executed as part of
"gwt:run". I personally find it useful but ...
If there is no way/reason to do it then I guess you could safely close this
issue. Again, sorry for the noise in JIRA.

> I have created simple project (attached) to demonstrate the problem.
> Doing "mvn gwt:run" starts the hosted mode but it seems like Jetty does
> not have the application classes on the classpath:

> Compiling and runing the exact same project works fine (both with "mvn
> jetty:run" and when deployed in external web container)!
