buildDirectory Default ist not reasonable and can not be changed

The pde maven plugi defaults the buildDirectory to be two directories above
$pdeDirectory (wich is the mavne proejcts dir). That is somwhere above the
projects and does not llok reasonable to me.
Even worse you can't change the default. You may set buildDirectory within
buildProperties and their are passed to the pde build script, but install will
fail to lookup the created artifact at the right place.
