@David - there's no changes needed to the current plugin if you don't mind 
running "mvn install" on your dependency projects whenever you change them. 
However, this patch will allow you to change your dependency projects and 
simply "refresh" hosted mode and get the changes. I realize it's somewhat 
against "The Maven Way", but I believe this allows GWT to work better with 
Maven.

I tried the builder-helper-plugin and it seems to solve this problem too.
