Benjamin Bentmann closed MOJO-641.
----------------------------------
Assignee: Benjamin Bentmann
Resolution: Won't Fix
This is not a bug of the plugin but an issue in the Maven core that is fixed in
Maven 2.1.0+ as per MNG-3284.
> Unable to use alongside latest maven-antrun-plugin due to maven core issue

> I have a multiproject build which calls both the maven-antrun-plugin and the
> xdoclet-maven-plugin at various points. The build dies with:
> Internal error in the plugin manager executing goal
> 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.0:run': Unable to find the
> mojo 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.0:run' in the plugin
> 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin'
> Component descriptor cannot be found in the component repository:
> org.apache.maven.plugin.Mojoorg.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.0:run.
> This appears to be because the version of the maven-antrun-plugin depended on
> by xdoclet-maven-plugin is no longer the latest release.
> It is an adequate workaround to pin the maven-antrun-plugin version to 1.0
> (assuming you don't actually need stuff from 1.1), but it's not great.
> As an interim solution, please could a new release of xdoclet-maven-plugin be
> made, referencing the current release of the maven-antrun-plugin?
