Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
Still - this is not a plugin issue AFAIK.
You need to do clean install to make the common artifact available for the
ejb-artifact, see:
http://maven.apache.org/guides/introduction/introduction-to-the-lifecycle.html
for the phases.
I'll attach an execution which went just fine here.
