Maven XSLT plugin could do with having an <flatten>true</flatten> configuration

The XSLT plugin barfs when it encounters a nested directory structure. It's
not that it can't recurse into the source directory, its just that it can't
make subdirectories in the target directory.
Flattening the output into a single directory would be useful.
