Julien HENRY commented on MVERSIONS-80:
---------------------------------------
I found the reason of the bug.
It seems than the default value of Property.autoLinkDependencies is not taken
into account (should be true by default).
Using the following configuration in the pom:
{code}
<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>versions-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>1.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
<configuration>
<properties>
<property>
<name>api</name>
<autoLinkDependencies>true</autoLinkDependencies>
<version>${api.version.range}</version>
</property>
</properties>
</configuration>
</plugin>
{code}
works for me.
I don't know how properties attribute is populated in UpdatePropertiesMojo but
I suppose this is basic Maven API so it may be a Maven bug...
> update-properties doesn't work when version is specified in plugin
> configuration
