much fewer warnings found in 2.3, than in 2.0.1

Key: MFINDBUGS-108
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MFINDBUGS-108
Project: Maven 2.x FindBugs Plugin
Issue Type: Task
Affects Versions: 2.3
Reporter: Dan Morrow
I'm using the latest version of Hudson to do nightly builds, and it displays
reports generated by FindBugs.
I've been using version 2.0.1 of the FindBugs Maven plugin for months now. In
my current project, it had about 160 warnings.
When I upgraded to version 2.3 of the plugin, it now reports that there are
only 60 warnings. What might be the cause of this? Is there documentation that
explains changes in how bugs are reported? I've tried looking, but haven't seen
much that explains it yet.
Thanks for any links that might explain this.
