We use the sysdeo plugin for our Liferay portlets. Liferay has some
dependencies it injects when the portlets are deployed, e.g. util-bridges.
These artifacts should not be packaged with the WAR (scope provided). But since
debugging with the sysdeo bypasses the normal Liferay deployment cycle
util-bridges is needed.
