make openjpa-dependency optional
--------------------------------
Key: MOPENJPA-19
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MOPENJPA-19
Project: Maven 2.x OpenJPA Plugin
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 1.0
Reporter: Mark Struberg
Assignee: Mark Struberg
Fix For: 1.1
While working with various OpenJPA versions, it became quite clear that having
a default openjpa version used by the openjpa-maven-plugin can cause errors
which are hard to detect. E.g. compiletime enhancing with openjpa-1.1 works a
bit different than with openjpa-1.2.1. And with openjpa-2.0.0 most of the
artifact ids have changed anyway.
The final conclusion is to make the dependency to any OpenJPA library optional.
This means that a user has to add the OpenJPA dependency _he_ really uses
manually as <dependency> to the openjpa-maven-plugin.
