I have the same issue. Windows 7.
I have created RPC Service interface and its implementation and I have added 
gwt:generateAsync to my targets. The Async interface is generated as expected 
in the generated-sources folder, but the folder is not added to the Eclipse's 
project path, so Eclipse warns me that I'm using an inexistent class ***Async.
