James Olsen commented on MWEBSTART-116:
---------------------------------------
Actually you can workaround the exclusion issue by repeating it in the
dependency section of the pom.xml for the artifact in the jarResources which is
the direct dependency triggering the transitive dependency.
But is would be nicer to have this fixed so that we don't have to double check
that we're getting all the correct jar versions and not getting ones we've
excluded.
> jnlp-download-servlet should use dependencyManagement

> Within jarResources, version should not be required. If it is not provided,
> it should be inherited from dependencyManagement.
> However, when I try follow that approach, I get this:
> [ERROR] BUILD ERROR
> [INFO]
> ------------------------------------------------------------------------
> [INFO] Configuration error: groupId, artifactId or version missing for
> jarResource[JarResource[ groupId='jboss', artifactId='jbossall-client',
> version='null', classifier='null', mainClass='null' ]].
