Yep, that makes sense to me. Recently at Codehaus, for gwt-m-p, we
migrated to a lock step versioning system where the plugin versions
would mirror the upstream GWT project's versioning. This is working
out quite well, and maintains Codehaus control over the plugin. I
easily can think of some advantages to having upstream here take over
the care and feeding of the plugin though...
Perhaps I should just wait for the DISCUSS to come out, thanks Mark!
