Michael Wenig commented on MCOBERTURA-146:

Please also regard comment #2 from MCOBERTURA-87:

We have one situation where we are collection cobertura information out of a
tomcat running a canoo webtest (in a separate module) and generate a cobertura
report. We tried to add the war-module as dependency but it didn't work.

So currently we are able to see how much was tested but not exactly which lines
and which not.

It would be useful if we had the possibility to define a set of dependencies
(jars, wars, ...) which source-attachements gets downloaded and used

Or alternatively (it's perhaps easier) to specifiy a source-directory in the
plugin. We could then use the dependency plugin to first put the sources in
this directory

In this setup the sources are NOT used via source roots as it is only a webtest
and not a compile module.

> MCOBERTURA-87 amounts to a report that the plugin does not pay attention to
> all the source roots. It should.
