Geoff Bennett commented on MFINDBUGS-141:
-----------------------------------------
Thanks. I'm having trouble trying to use this snapshot repo. Maven keeps saying
that it cannot find the artifact and with this being the first snapshot
repository that we have added to archiva, I have no idea how to resolve it.
I'll have to go away and do some repository management reading or something...
although I will not be able to do that until next week now.
> Make dependency resolution scope requirements the same as the compile plugin

> I have a multi-module J2EE configuration that has a lot of dependencies of
> scope 'provided'. Because they are not of scope 'compile' I cannot run
> findbugs.
> Shouldn't the findbugs plugin operate the same way that the compile plugin
> works with respect to dependencies? If this was the case, 'provided' would
> also be on the classpath.
