Christoph Kutzinski commented on MFINDBUGS-110:
-----------------------------------------------

Sorry, to keep bothering you with this topic, but I'm still trying to
understand the reason for the longer times (and hence why it 'Won't Fix')
Is the new version now really doing more (e.g. checking more bug patterns)
OR
is it doing the same and just (for some reason) needs more time to do it?

Ergo, in the 2nd case there wouldn't be any motivation for me to ever upgrade
to findbugs-plugin 2.3.x

> Major performance degradation since FindBugs plugin 2.1

> Since FindBugs plugin performance got much worse.
> E.g. for a small multimodule project with 3 modules execution time increased
> from ~50 sec to ~ 1 min 20 sec
> For a big project with 30 submodules it increased from ~ 4 min to ~ 8 minutes
> - i.e. execution time has doubled!
