Checking the format only works if there's a definition to compare it with. It's
much more complex then just counting the indents.
Besides, this sounds more like a separate project to me.
Meanwhile: just make use of the power of IDE's. For Eclipse: CRTL+A,
CTRL+SHIFT+F
