Unable to run plugin in with property "update" true...

I'm able to use the plugin in order to generate create and drop script.
But when I set the <update> parameter to true, the plugin fail with the error:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The user must supply a JDBC
connection
The connection is configured correctly as you can see in the attached
hibernate.cfg.xml
I'm unable to find where could be the problem...
