Kennard Consulting commented on MWEBTEST-3:
-------------------------------------------

Siegfried,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm not aware of any specific issues, but as a 'general strategy' I imagine the
Maven plugin needs a way to be detached from the underlying WebTest
implementation, because one day you will presumably step back from maintaining
this plugin.

I'm okay with having to throw in a whole raft of dependencies, which is what I
do for other plugins. For example:

http://mojo.codehaus.org/tomcat-maven-plugin/examples/adjust-embedded-tomcat-version.html

> upgrade dependency and plugin versions for webtest-maven-plugin
> ---------------------------------------------------------------

> Key: MWEBTEST-3
> URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MWEBTEST-3
> Project: Maven 2.x Webtest plugin

> the webtest-maven-plugin should get all dependencies and plugins upgraded to
> the latest available versions.
