The plugin creates scripts which do their job as well as the plugin. The script
is NOT broken. Furthermore if you don't like the way it is (holding the
compatibility with earlier version), why don't you create patch which solves
the problem instead of blaming.
I have checked several opportunities to create the permission but this results
in creating a new dependencies to other packages and would break the
compatibility. May you have a better idea to solve that problem.
