Jasper Reports comes with a Java class to update jasper reports source files (.jrxml files) from older versions to the current version. This class file can be run as an Ant task, called the JRAntUpdateTask.
Currently, to run this task from Maven, one has to create an AntRunTask. It would be much preferred if this functionality were accessed from a goal in the maven-jasperreports-plugin.
