Definitely, but I think first get it working on Redhat flavours, then extend it 
until it works everywhere else where rpmbuild works.

Digging into the tests, which seem to take a while to run (not sure why), I 
can't get the tests to pass without this patch made to 
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRPM-107. It seems the fix for it on MacOSX 
breaks it on Linux, which has case sensitive filesystems by default.
